President Shriram Subramanian and Vice President Chandra Shekhar Chitrala met with the new VC of XIM University, Dr.Fr.K S Casimir at his office in the XIMB Campus on 11 December. Association Secretary Prof.Punyaslok Dhall and Treasurer Fr.Arockiya were also present at the meeting. The first formal interaction between the new VC and the Association went off well and we are happy to share that finally we are hopeful that we will be able to move forward once again.

The VC shared that he was extremely enthused by his interaction with our Singapore Chapter and said he wanted to work harmoniously with the Alumni Association so that we could leverage the network effectively for all stakeholders.

He also categorically stated that he wanted to put the past behind and move forward. Towards this he shared that the Board of Governors have taken cognizance of the pending issues (thanks to the letters sent by our President to them) and have constituted a committee with senior members of the Board to look into them. As a part of their brief, they will be meeting with the President, Vice President and other EC members to understand the pending issues so that they could be resolved at the earliest.

On their part, the President and Vice President shared about the work being done by the Association across all chapters and promised to give all support required by the Committee for a quick resolution of pending issues.

The meeting ended with the presentation of XIMB Alumni hoodies to the VC and Treasurer on behalf of the Alumni Association. The Secretary too was gifted a hoodie prior to the meeting.
